The client, a vibrant family of four who enjoy spending quality time together while also pursuing individual activities, envisioned a media wall that would serve as a relaxing and cosy area of their open-plan kitchen living space.
Speak To Our DesignersThe goal was to create a multifunctional area that fosters togetherness. Painted in Farrow and Ball’s French Grey, the cabinetry features an Edwardian door profile with an in-frame design, offering a classic and sophisticated look that complements the rest of their home. The media wall was designed to house a television, providing a central spot for entertainment, and is flanked by open shelving. These shelves are intended for displaying decor and sentimental items, creating a personalized and aesthetically pleasing environment. This configuration allows family members to engage in different tasks simultaneously—cooking, watching TV, or relaxing—while still being in close proximity to one another. The thoughtful design of the media wall promotes a harmonious balance of shared experiences and individual activities, making it an ideal space for a family that values both connection and personal space.
