The interior of a home can be thoughtfully designed to seamlessly integrate with outdoor hobbies such as gardening, providing a functional and inviting space that enhances the enjoyment of these activities.
Speak To Our DesignersThis client, a homeowner with a penchant for classic aesthetics and a passion for gardening, sought to transform their utility room into a multifunctional space that seamlessly integrated traditional charm with modern functionality. The primary objective was to create an inviting entry point from the garden into the house, tailored specifically to accommodate the needs of gardening enthusiasts. They envisioned a space that would exude timeless elegance, characterised by a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design elements. Key specifications included cabinetry featuring a lay-on, Englemere door profile, complemented by antique brass handles and knobs from Armac Martin’s Queslett collection. The colour palette was to be dominated by Farrow and Ball’s Cornforth paint, selected for its soothing neutrality, juxtaposed against a striking herringbone tiled backsplash and quartz worktop finished with an ogee edge. The overarching goal was to achieve a perfect synthesis of up-to-date functionality and timeless sophistication, tailored to the client’s lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.
