The Rose Garden Project

Introducing the Rose Garden Project: a distinctive, traditionally styled kitchen designed to harmonise with the architecture of a Georgian home.

Speak To Our Kitchen Designers

The Brief

The Rose Garden brief centred around a striking 4.2-metre island, complete with a refined walnut inlay, to provide a quirky focal point for our client’s kitchen. The island’s end panels featured external beading to add an extra layer of detail that complimented their kitchen’s traditional aesthetic.

Housing a double sink, Quooker, and a polished nickel Perrin & Rowe Ionian X-Head tap with rinse feature, the island also enclosed a generous seating area, perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. Also, for added convenience, we positioned a discreetly integrated Liebherr under-counter wine unit at the island’s end, while the island’s dedicated coffee station ensured a seamless morning ritual time and again.

Opposite the island, an eye-catching white Lacanche Chalonnais range with nickel trim overlooks a freestanding dresser at the far end. Crafted to match the cabinetry, and provide generous storage space for the client’s crockery, the dresser honoured our client’s request for a dedicated storage area that blended seamlessly with the kitchen’s design.

With the cabinetry finished in Little Greene’s French Grey, we embellished a kitchen made to feel both fresh and timeless, embracing the essence of traditional design in a functional, modern home.

"What a transformation .... from darkness into light! Cooks and Company gave us everything we asked for and more thanks to the vision of their amazing designer. We now have a fabulous kitchen which is light and airy - up to date but in keeping with the age of the house. An absolute joy to be in." The Rose Garden Project
