In the realm of bespoke kitchen and interior design, projects often begin with a client's unique vision and requirements. Take, for instance, a recent endeavour undertaken by our designers tasked with crafting a double home office and study for two working professionals seeking a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic sophistication.
Speak To Our DesignersA couple of working professionals, both with distinct business endeavours, sought to transform a part of their home into a cohesive yet individually functional workspace. Their request was for a bespoke design that seamlessly integrated two separate workstations into one room without sacrificing individuality or space. They desired a joint home office that didn’t feel compartmentalised, but rather fostered collaboration while providing ample room for focused work. The main requirements included spacious desks for each individual, abundant storage solutions for files and books, and open shelving to showcase décor, family photos, and sentimental objects. Additionally, the couple envisioned a shared cubby space beneath the desks for a printer, promoting practicality and organisation within the workspace. To align with the existing design aesthetic of their home, characterised by the Edwardian door profile with single quirk detail and the sophisticated ambiance cultivated by previous projects with Cooks and Company, they specified burnished brass as the handle choice for the cabinetry.
